Office Procedures during covid-19

Scheduling

My schedule is reduced to 60% capacity to minimize contact between clients and to allow for disinfection of high-touch surfaces and air filtration between treatments. Online scheduling for appointments in August is now available.
I am accepting a limited number of new patients; please call or email to schedule an initial visit.

Your visit

When you receive your 24- and 48-hour reminder emails, there will be a link to an online COVID pre-screening form to complete the day prior to every visit.

Our ‘health check-in chat’ portion of your treatment will be done via a Telemedicine Check-in if a) your most recent visit occurred 2 weeks ago or more or b) your weekly treatment plan involves more in-depth conversation, monitoring, and adjusting.  (Contact me and we will talk about which plan is right for you.) This two-step process is intended to allow for comfort during intake and screening and reduces the amount of time in-office, thus reducing exposure.

If you are a new patient, your intake will be done via Telemedicine the day prior to your acupuncture visit.

Together

We will practice the following dance in the office:

  1. Put on your mask before you enter.

  2. Hand sanitize when you come through the door.

  3. Have your temperature and blood oxygen saturation measured when you enter my office.

  4. Proceed to your treatment room and receive acupuncture, resting with your mask on.

  5. Hand sanitize on your way out of the room.

  6. Observe the 6 foot marker at the reception desk while settling payment.
